24 steel bunk beds rated for adults: $7,680. 48 mattresses with waterproof covers: $4,560. Bedding, pillows and blankets: $1,250. Contingency and program costs: $710.

Hearthstone shelters families with children while they find permanent housing, usually for six to ten weeks. A tired parent cannot look for work or an apartment, and a tired child cannot learn. This request replaces every bed in the shelter: 24 sturdy bunk beds rated for adults, 48 mattresses with waterproof covers, and new bedding for every bed.
