About This Project
Farms around Brighton offer us tons of fresh produce every harvest, and we can only collect what fits in a pickup. A refrigerated truck would bring it all in fresh.

Plains Harvest serves families across rural Adams and Weld counties. Local growers offer us their seconds, the produce that is perfectly good but too small or too odd-looking to sell, and last season we had to leave about forty tons of it in the field. A used 16-foot refrigerated box truck would let us pick up from farms every day of the harvest and keep it cold until it reaches our shelves and the six smaller pantries we supply.
