Milestones
4 planned deliverables · 0 complete
Our twelve-week course teaches industrial sewing to adults who are out of work or stuck in part-time jobs. Two outdoor-gear makers nearby hire our graduates at $21 an hour, and both have told us they would take more. We train eight people at a time because we have eight machines, several of them older than the students. This request adds twelve industrial machines and the tables, lighting and wiring to run them, which lets us train twenty at a time and run a second evening class.
