Milestones
3 planned deliverables · 0 complete
What started as coffee in a church basement now runs a volunteer driver program: retired members drive other members to medical appointments in their own cars. We made about 600 trips last year and turned down nearly as many, mostly because the rider used a wheelchair or walker. This request buys a used wheelchair-accessible van with a side ramp, and covers its first year of insurance. Volunteer drivers are already trained and waiting.
