About This Project
We are the only rescue in the San Luis Valley, and we turn dogs away when our twelve kennels are full. Eight more runs and our own surgery table would let us take them in and spay them on site.

Sundog takes in strays and surrendered pets from six rural counties. Every animal is spayed or neutered before adoption, which today means a two-hour drive to a partner vet and a wait of several weeks. This request builds eight covered outdoor kennel runs on the concrete pad behind our building and equips a small surgery room, so the volunteer vet who already visits twice a month can operate here.
